Alex Bueno

This talented Dominican artist started singing and playing guitar at age five. By the time he was fifteen, Bueno had been picked to join La Santo Domingo All-Stars, which brought him to the attention of Los Hijos del Rey's Fernando Villalona. After recording multiple hits with Villalona's solo band, Bueno struck out on his own. He became known in the 1990s as the "sweetest voice in merengue" and he's respected for his bachata recordings as well.
