Muscle of Love, originally released in 1973 in a corrugated cardboard sleeve, is the last album by Alice Cooper the band. Though it's not as beginning-to-end killer as its predecessors, School's Out and what is arguably the Coop's artistic apex Billion Dollar Babies, the record contains a handful of choice rockers, among them "Big Apple Dreamin' (Hippo)," "Working Up a Sweat" and hit "Teenage Lament '74," which features both Liza Minnelli and The Pointer Sisters on backing vocals. These might seem like strange cameos, but let's not forget: Alice Cooper has always worshipped pop schmaltz.
