Dirty Work, All Time Low's first long-player for Interscope, is a textbook example of the pop-punk sound in 2011. Album opener "Do You Me Want (Dead?)" mixes cheeky missives with Cheap Trick-inspired riffage perfect for arenas and stadiums. On follow-up "I Feel Like Dancin'," the group nick a few Top 40 tricks from Metro Station and The White Tie Affair, dabbling as they do in synthed-out club beats and even more cheeky missives. Later on, the emo anthem "Guts" features vocals from the lovely Maja Ivarsson of The Sounds; it's the album's most engaging track by far.
