Allstar Weekend might be "suddenly" ours, but their quick success will be no surprise after hearing their debut. The San Diegan foursome bounces around a synth-tastic mall-pop playland. They spit enunciated emo vocals here, bust out Auto-Tuned robot hooks there, and generally throw a buoyant boy band party that any teenage girl would kill for an invite to. But while their sound sounds wholesome enough to score a Disney show (or a jeans commercial), don't think these boys are all innocent. Case in point: "Can't Sleep Tonight," a kind of "More Than Words" for the Hannah Montana generation.
