About Alternative TV

Alternative TV were the creative brainchild of Mark Perry, founder of the coveted punk chronicle Sniffin' Glue. But while the magazine was consistently a solid, entertaining vehicle, the band didn't fair so well. As Perry's connections with London's punk elite exposed him to a wider variety of music and political point-of-views, these experiences were incorporated back into his own music -- some with better results than others. Still, he did put his money where his mouth -- or in this case his pen -- was.
