The first song on Hart's 2005 release sounds like ZZ Top circa Rio Grande Mud. Then he reclaims songs stolen by Led Zeppelin and covers the mighty Sir Douglas Quintet. Furthermore, the album has a great name and cover art, to boot. Hart, who in the past played acoustic blues, hits it hard all the way through. The song "Necessary Roughness" says it all.
