Anasol

Born in Argentina and mainly raised in Colombia, Anasol's pop ascendancy was predicted from birth. Her father was an ardent astrologer who read his daughter's chart minutes after her birth and declared that she would be an artist. Whether or not it became a self-fulfilling prophecy is up for debate, but by age six Anasol was winning dance competitions and -- after a long migratory youth with her peripatetic family -- she finally studied music at the university. It was here that she discovered her love for music -- not to mention her self-assured, resonant voice and love for electronica. It was only a matter of time before Univision scooped the promising young artist up.
