Cieli Di Toscana
Andrea Bocelli
Released:
Oct 2001
Label:
Philips
Heavy synths, gently plucked strings and electronic drums boost Bocelli's voice on Cieli Di Tosana, a follow up to his first pop album Songo. As a celebration of his Tuscan homeland, Cieli has a sentimental, rustic sensibility. Bocelli wrote three of the tracks, including "L'Incontro," a meditation on fatherhood with a poetic introduction by U2's Bono. Alternate versions of the album have Bocelli singing the first three tracks in Italian and Spanish.
