Biography
Colombia's Andrea Echeverri is the velvety-voiced singer who's anchored Latin rock stalwarts Aterciopelados's sound for over a decade. Though she hasn't left the band, she decided to explore solo work in 2004 after the birth of her first child. Her solo work is a departure from Aterciopelados's punk/pop sound: it's quieter and a bit dreamy -- and it shows off her introspective side.
