Close Calls With Brick Walls was originally released in select countries throughout Asia in 2006. The record perplexed fans of the balls-to-the-wall party metal of I Get Wet and The Wolf. Though the record contains plenty of anthemic jammers (see "Not Going to Bed"), it finds Andrew reconnecting with his underground roots in high octane weirdo-pop, most of which is really kind of brilliant. Note: This 2010 reissue contains a second disc of rarities, demos and oddities titled Mother of Mankind.
