Arlen Roth

Upstate New York-based guitarist Arlen Roth has been a sideman to Paul Simon, Phoebe Snow, and other well known singer-songwriters. He was the guitar coach for Ralph Macchio in the film Crossroads, and is now probably best known for his series of successful guitar instruction videos (featuring instruction from the late, great Danny Gatton, jazz legend Pat Martino, and former Stray Cat Brian Setzer). He has recorded several solo albums showcasing his guitar work that are best described as genre-defying tours de force of American Roots music styles.
