Jazz Round Midnight Again

Jazz Round Midnight Again by Arthur Prysock
Released: Feb 1995
Label:
The title's a little misleading, since there's as much R&B, pop and blues as jazz on this collection, but it's all good. Highlights include "It's Too Late Baby," the existential bossa nova "Who (Will Take My Place)," and the exquisite "Teardrops in the Rain." A jazz favorite, Prysock was also one of the 1960s greatest soul balladeers.
