Biography

Ashley Park's lilting, airy pop could easily be outtakes from Pet Sounds or Magical Mystery Tour, as it was certainly inspired by those benchmark albums. Their acoustic guitar-based Jangle Pop is a chutes and ladders game board for lush, climbing harmonies and capitulating melotron that snakes its way from start to finish. Chiming verses and big choruses bridged by catchy drumfills.
