For their fourth album, Augustana turn to producer Jacquire King, the knob twiddler for Kings of Leon's Only By the Night and Come Around Sundown. The move makes sense, considering the quintet has been gradually morphing from neo-U2 piano balladeers into heartland groovers with a strong Bruce Springsteen vibe. In fact, the album's lead single, "Steal Your Heart," sounds as if it's an outtake from the Human Touch / Lucky Town era. After The Boss comparisons, the record's next most noticeable quality is the band's tight sound. All those years on the road are paying off in the studio.
