Released:
Label: Warner Bros.
The lead single from Avenged Sevenfold's fourth album (due for release Halloween 2007) can be seen as a middle finger thrust in the face of their many critics. Delivering a note-perfect cover of one of Pantera's signature tunes, the kids from Huntington Beach assume a tougher pose than any they had previously taken. It works for the most part, as the song itself is a powerful one and an interesting choice for the band. You do kinda miss Dimebag Darrell more than usual when listening to it, though.
