Baby Bash rolls hard and deep on album four. Bashtown is populated by big, blustering beats and clubby posturing about Bash's skills. Backing up his claims are so many guests (E40, Slim Thug, Jay Rock, one on nearly every track) that Bash himself is sometimes drowned out. But safety in numbers also inspires him to experiment a bit: "Fantasy Girl" pays homage to '80s pop, "Buttakup" shows his sugary sweet side and "Hope I Don't Violate" is almost sweetly vulnerable. If you prefer your Bash delivering sexed-up tongue twisters a la "Cyclone," try "Roller Coaster Ride" or "Body Moves Slow."
