Biography

Born in 1946, Barbara Bonney is an American soprano who studied at the Salzburg Mozarteum and is known for her portrayal of Susanna in Mozart's Le nozze di Figaro. Bonney has appeared on over 90 recordings and is widely recognized as one of the premier lyric sopranos of her generation.
