Hits from Yesterday & The Day Before is actually Barenaked Ladies' second package of hits, Disc One: All Their Greatest Hits (1991–2001) being the group's first. Significant overlap exists, though this collection contains the hits the Ladies scored since '01. The most notable are probably "You Run Away" and "Another Postcard," neither of which dominated the charts quite like "One Week." That earworm was damn near inescapable back in '98. For hardcore fans of the TV show, Hits from Yesterday also contains "The Big Bang Theory Theme," a tune that has never before appeared on a full-length.
