Beenie Man hadn't evolved his distinct, experimental/crossover style, but this is a solid album that showcases one of Jamaica's premier mic-touchers. "Freedom" mines roots territory and even gets political, but the playful party tracks like "Matie A Come" and "Tear Off Mi Garment" really stand out. Check out a dancehall emcee on his way up.
