Belanova's debut album lays bare the soul and acid jazz influences that were perhaps swallowed by Dulce Beat's poppier edge. While less joyous than its successor, the album has a lot to offer. Singer Denisse Guerrero's iridescent voice thoroughly charms, while songs like "Fragilidad" and "Tranquilo" take a vaguely dreamy direction that always returns to the real world, thanks to the ever-present (if subtle) club beats.
