When New Edition picked up the pieces after Bobby Brown's departure, nasty-but-nice pop outfit Bell Biv Devoe was the result. With songs such as "Poison" and "Do Me!," the boys grew up in a hurry, singing hot, pointed lyrics around funky, slick effects. Their debut album, 1990's Poison, is a classic New Jack offering.
