Once circus music welcomes you to the show, this ornate and late-Beatles-obsessed L.A. art-metal band plunder Easy Action-era Alice Cooper ("Gravest Show on Earth"), Enuff Z'Nuff, King's X, the straighter end of glam rock, Pink Floyd with bigger guitars ("Race With Time") and early Sabbath, if they pranced in fancy pants ("Hydra"). Then an outlandishly interminable multi-climaxing closing extravaganza ("Counting Sheep"/"Demon Queen of Spiders") adds lots of Queen and maybe some Sparks and Sensational Alex Harvey Band. Plus, the singer wears a top hat. And Linda Perry sings backup. Twice.
