Private Radio

Private Radio by Billy Bob Thornton
Released: Sep 2001
The long line of ill-advised celebrity forays into the music industry is well documented, and Billy Bob Thornton does the time-honored tradition proud with his 2001 debut. While he doesn't fall on his face like Jeff Bridges (pretty awful) or Joe Piscopo (quite possibly the worst music of all time), "Angelina" (yes, that Angelina) shows why he speak-sings all the other songs, while all the other songs show why he probably shouldn't speak-sing, either. "Forever" is tailor-made for that person who thinks Tom Waits' lost-America/old-timey character sketches aren't pretentious enough.
