One of two sets that Taylor cut for Atlantic Records in the late 1950s. The moody cover shot doesn't really match the buoyant mood of the album, but the Taylor's off-hand "One For Fun" title track does. Take some of the bop out of Taylor's upbeat piano playing and add some handclaps and you'd be pretty close to the kind of juke joint soul jazz that would rule the 1960s.
