Just like his ambient drone collaboration with Delia Gonzalez, Gavin Russom's "dance" album continues in pursuit of psychedelic horizons across six long tracks -- one is almost 18 minutes! -- performed live in single takes on analog drum machines and homemade synthesizers. Inspired by Berlin's all-night parties, it's an electric communion indebted to the pioneers of acid house and techno, but hardly bound by tradition.
