Many bands served as inspiration for Spinal Tap but only this lineup of Sabbath (with Ian Gillan on vocals) has a song actually called "Stonehenge," with a suspiciously similar beginning. As much potential as the arrival of Gillan held for metal fans, there is no denying that Born Again isn't exactly anyone's finest hour. Gillan is always a blast when he hits those insanely high notes, but he may not have been so suited to singing about "the devil" in retrospect. But you listen to Born Again for other reasons, like that it is a Black Sabbath record and that it exists.
