With this six-song EP, Blake Shelton throws down the gauntlet. Not only does the Oklahoma native shine a light on his down-home, redneck ways in songs like "Hillbilly Bone," he dares you to talk smack about it in "Kiss My Country Ass." The theme loosely extends to the oddly hilarious "You'll Always Be Beautiful," which, at first blush, sounds like a lovely, romantic ode to true love, but its over-the-top string section and sappy production belie the humorous lyrics. The highlight, though, is the missed opportunity/second-chance-at-love song "Delilah."
