Managing to incorporate Christian ideas into the Alternative arena without seeming overtly zealous is a task handled more and more frequently to great success (Sixpence None the Richer, DC Talk). Blessid Union of Souls take subtlety to another level with their soul-inflected Alt-Pop. While maintaining a Psychedelic influence that invokes more of the spirit of Lenny Kravitz than John Lennon, the band has also managed to fall under the Attention Deficit Disorder-addled gaze of commercial radio with their topical hit "Hey Leonardo."
