Granted, bluegrass generally conjures up images of braying singers competing for dominance with breakneck mandolin and fiddle playing, but this album of bluegrass lullabies breaks the pattern, loping through songs like "Brahm's Lullaby" and "Scarboro Fair" with rootsy self-awareness. You'll even hear a competently plucked "Cantata 147" and "Greensleaves." Good times.
