Biography

Great sidemen get little glory and less money, but if they're as good as Bob Wilber, they get to leave their mark on scores of recordings. This clarinet and sometime sax player made beautiful music with Lionel Hampton, Billy Strayhorn, Clark Terry and scores of others.
