Biography
The BoDeans have made a career of spinning tales about average folks. Full of streamlined hooks, their brand of heartland rock has earned them continuous critical acclaim, as well as nods from Robbie Robertson and U2. However, these Wisconsin natives didn't receive their commercial due until "Closer to Free" became the theme song to the television tragicomedy Party of Five in 1996.
