Born Against

Never mind that their most recent collaboration was with opposite end of the punk spectrum Screeching Weasel. Here's Born Against in all their Hardcore glory. Like the illegitimate love child of early bands such as Minor Threat and Punk-metal pioneers the Varukers and Broken Bones, Born Against are a nonstop, full-throttle tour of '90s Hardcore. Guitars growl and snarl, beats fall like drumrolls, and vocals scream bloody murder (and occasionally posess a MacKaye-esque inflection). It's harsh, yes, but a welcome respite from the recent deluge of "la-la" Punk.
