The fact that Live, Love & Hope is Boston's first album in 11 years won't come as any shock to longtime fans. After all, they know this is standard operating procedure for hyper-meticulous mastermind Tom Scholz. The iconic vocals of the late Brad Delp, who passed away in 2007, can be heard on a few cuts only; including "Didn't Mean To Fall In Love" (which doesn't really count, as it first appeared on 2002's Corporate America), and the brand new "Sail Away." Due to Delp's absence, Scholz was forced to enlist several lead singers, including himself on "Love Got Away." That's a first, actually.
