Long the best-kept secret of Leeds, England, Boyracer combined blazing guitars, catchy tunes and plummy Northern English vocals into a potent pop brew. Home-recorded ambiance (some even laid down on answering machines!) and a questing sense of experimentation made them both a crucial Punk band and a perfect summation of '90s Indie Rock.
