About Brad Cotter

From his tweens to his late teens, Brad Cotter released five albums of nothing but pure gospel music. As a child he honed his singing skills in gospel choir of his father's congregation (Cotter is one of those lucky folks who had gospel music in his home from day one). In his mid twenties, he tried his hand at a country music career but found little success until his charming good looks and buttery voice won him votes on Nashville Star (which is Music City's very own twangy version of American Idol). Sony Nashville, a label that had turned him down before had no choice but to sign him after he won first place.
