Bradford were the right band at the wrong time. Influenced by British guitar pop bands like the Smiths, Bradford came on the scene just as American grunge was taking over, yet they broke up before the Brit pop explosion brought U.K. rock bands back to the fore. This EP collects the band's initial singles and b-sides, though producer Stephen Street would go on to give "Everything at Once" and "Skin Storm" a little more form on the band's proper full-length debut. While Morrissey would eventually cover "Skin Storm," Bradford's lead singer actually sounds more like the Beat's Dave Wakeling (or the future vocalist for the band Gene).
