This double-disc set captures Brian Setzer and his big band in concert. The greasy retro rock 'n' roll that Setzer excelled at with The Stray Cats is still very much in evidence here (along with a litter of the band's old hits). That said, Setzer's band also blows out the kind of big, brassy, jazzy sounds that were popularized by the likes of Henry Mancini, Billy May and Stan Kenton. While Setzer obviously loves his big band, his old hot-rods-and-switchblades rockabilly style carries the show.
