Motion to Rejoin is basically a continuation of B.M.L.'s debut: organ-soaked hippie gospel built upon open-ended grooves as thick as molasses. As with Morphine and Recurring-era Spacemen 3, you could say the group champions mood and style over substance. Then again, it's really kind of cool that a modern indie band has found its sound and is willing to stick with it rather than jump from idea to idea in the name of post-modern ADD. The band knows what it wants and how to get it. Good for them.
