While she might not have Andre the Giant taunting her from ringside with a folding chair or Eugene "Mean Gene" Okerlund analyzing her finishing moves, Brooke Hogan has had to wrestle her fair share from the entertainment industry, just like her old man. Growing up the daughter of WWF megastar Hulk Hogan, Brooke began singing at a young age, eventually convincing her folks that her ambition and talent were worthy investments. She had an agent by the time she was a teenager; at 15 the singing/dancing double threat was opening shows for Hillary Duff and the Backstreet Boys. A year later, Brooke cut her first single, the modern R&B track "Everything to Me," which shot to the top of the Soundscan charts. The song's success and a performance in Miami Beach led her to uberproducer Scott Storch. Around this time, VH1 aired Hogan Knows Best, a reality show that put the entire family under the microscope and into the limelight. Brooke was the first artist signed to Storch's fledgling Storchaveli Records label through which she released her debut, Undiscovered, in October 2006. The album's first single, "About Us," featured Houston rapper Paul Wall.
