Setting the tone for the following 19 tracks, Dan Lilker and Co. kill it with crushing opener "Sugar Daddy" as dissonant bass lines and unrelenting guitars are spastically layered over unremitting blast beats. Where one song begins and another one ends is always in question as surprise change-ups in songs like the seven-second "Branded," the slow-moving title track and even slower "Detached" keep listeners on their toes.
