There's an unapologetic snarl to Buckcherry's fourth studio record that brings to mind classic '70s rockers like AC/DC and Aerosmith: tons of sassy affection, hair-curling guitar barnstorming and even a well-placed cowbell. Sometimes singer Josh Todd gets a bit carried away -- his voice tears though "Dreams" with a big, pack-a-day vibrato that brings to mind a raspy (drag) Queensryche -- but "Talk To Me" and "A Child Called 'It'" light up the front half of the record with tons of raw energy.
