Released:
Label: Rap-A-Lot Records
This is a late-period release from a Texas icon. Bun B's forceful, stentorian presence remains compelling, but the beats are formulaic and thin. He also saddles himself with bad cameos from Kirko Bangz (who sounds like a dead ringer for Drake on "Triller") and 2 Chainz (who drops a throwaway verse on "Fire"). But there's much to enjoy here, like "Don't Play with Me" (with a back-from-the-dead chorus by Pimp C), "Dippin' & Swervin'" and the "The Legendary DJ Screw," a tribute to the influential producer with H-Town vets like Trae, ESG and Z-Ro.
