All three members of Burning Airlines claim influential pasts, including stints in such important bands as Jawbox and Wool. Together, they direct a loud, yet controlled, guitar barrage full of distortion and flanged-out nuances. Creating an ebb and flow that features dynamically diverse chord selections, vocals go from impassioned whisper to an angst-filled screams. Burning Airlines have combined emo and indie rock -- two styles they have mastered in the past -- to create a sound of their own.
