By this period in their career, Cabaret Voltaire had been seduced by funky guitar licks and dancefloor-friendly beats, but the atonal brass loops and screeching effects kept them firmly in the industrial space, and as a result most of this collection continues to age well. "Code" is the best place to start, but it's all good, and the roots of electro house, breaks and early hip-hop scream from every track.
