Cake fans will recognize most of the tracks from the Wheels EP but should welcome how they've been stripped of the somewhat stifling production of earlier recordings. As a result, the band sounds fresher and tighter, particularly on a nicely-pitched version of "Ruby, Don't Take Your Love to Town."
