Throughout the years, Cappadonna has had his moments, but he has never been one of Wu-Tang's finest. His flow is gruff, monotone and largely depends upon the dynamism of the beats (which have been lacking since his debut, The Pillage), and though his word play is appealing, it's nowhere near as engaging as Ghostface or GZA. On Slang Prostitution, Cap abandons the typically esoteric Wu themes and tries to craft a more personal album. It works in spurts ("Pistachio"), but in general the album is mediocre and unmemorable.
