BiographyCarl Weathersby broke into the blues scene working with Billy Branch and Sons of the Blues, but it was with his first solo album (1996's Don't Lay Your Blues on Me) that he cut his teeth as a solo artist. Having lived in Chicago since he was eight years old, it should come as no surprise that Weathersby's music is rooted in the Chicago Blues sounds of yesterday and today. His guitar work is Clapton-worthy, and his vocals emit more soul than any British blues aficionado could ever dream of.
