Formed in the barrios of Santa Catarina, near Monterrey, Mexico, Cartel de Santa grew up around MC Bobo, its nucleus and chief lyricist. Mono's deceptively simple beats and soundscapes maintain unusual texture and complexity, while DJ Augustin provides seamless support on the decks, and Dharius rocks the second mic.
