Biography

Though many believe they represent the true "spirit of '77" in Punk, Chaos U.K. (who helped establish the postcard punk look of dangerously spiky hair and overly studded leather jackets) actually didn't form until 1979 and didn't release their first record until '82. So much for historical accuracy. That small detail aside, 20 years later Chaos U.K. still have much of the same energy and rousing spirit. They straddle the line between Hardcore and straight-up Old-School Punk, blasting intense songs that capture the spirit of One Hundred Percent Two Fingers in the Air Punk Rock. Sneering, but also crushing in its attack on your aural sensibilities.
