Charlie Ventura

Charlie Ventura was a great entertainer and a swinging, Bop-fueled saxophone player. He quickly rose to fame with Gene Krupa's band in the early '40s and went on to lead his own very successful groups. His wild stage antics complemented his hard blowing style perfectly.
